Every year at the Chapter Regional Conference (CRC) every Chapter in Region XI will give a Summary of the past years’ activities. The CRC was in Regina on May 05, 06 and 07, 2022.
What follows are the slides that we would have presented about our VI ASHRAE, Chapter #145 activities. Figure 1 is just about house keeping identifying who we are. President Yoora Byeon and Vice President or Alternate Eric Loeper would have talked about our activates.
Figure 5 & 6: Summary of Our Finances
With all these summaries you will see a 3 to 4-year historical snapshot. As indicate we are in pretty good shape financially as a chapter.
In Figure 8 & 9 we talk about our accomplishments with Membership and Promotion. You can see Harry and the Team have done a really good job to try to retain members and introduce some new members into our chapter.
Figure 9 and 10, closely connected to Student Actives and Membership Promotion is our Young Engineers of ASHRAE or YEA events, you will see a short summary of those joint events in Figures 11, 12 and 13
For the technical meetings or Chapter Technology Transfer (CTTC) and Tech Awards can be seen in Figures 14, 15, 16 and 17 there was interesting virtual meetings because of COVID-19. Very good GoToMeeting supported from Society. A blend of in-person and virtual.
Research and Promotion (RP) was pretty static this year we did try online payment, this can be seen in Figure 18 an 19. There has been a slow and steady increase from our chapter to RP each year.
Lots of activity for Government Affairs, Figure 20 & 21.
To summarize our commination methods within the chapter please see Figure 24 and 25
Every year we prepare for the next year, in this case 2022/23. The transitions occurs on July 1st each year. In Figure 26 you can see who is in what role for next year. You will see lots of new people and lots of returning members as well.
Another common question we get from Membership is where were the CRC’s and where will the next CRC be. The 2022-2023 CRC will be in Edmonton May 04 to 07, 2023.
