This presentation introduces the Building Decarbonization Alliance, a cross-sectoral coalition that is working to accelerate the electrification of buildings in Canada. In collaboration with other organizations including Efficiency Canada and over 60 Alliance partners, the BDA is working to ensure the needs of the building sector are understood, and providing policy makers and other leaders with the evidence they need to make informed, strategic policy decisions.

We believe that electrification using heat pumps is the most promising pathway to decarbonizing the building sector.

During the session we will provide an overview of the BDA’s mission and vision, along with our current and planned projects and activities. We are also excited to recognize and amplify the amazing work taking place across the country, so we want to hear from you! Let us know your thoughts on how the Alliance can add value to the space.
